Terms & conditions.

These terms apply to appointments with Niyada Cohen at Acupuncture Watford, including acupuncture, acupuncture with Tuina and Thai massage. Appointments take place at 34 Bushey Grove Road, Bushey, WD23 2JQ.

Book online or contact Niyada to arrange an appointment. Online appointment hours are Monday–Friday, 10am–6pm, subject to availability. Your online booking is confirmed when the booking confirmation appears on screen. Please save those details, whether or not you receive an email.

Please provide accurate contact details and check your treatment, date and time before confirming. Contact Niyada if anything needs correcting. All appointment times are local UK time.

Treatment prices are in pounds sterling. The price and appointment length are shown before you confirm your online booking. Please check the treatments and prices page for the available options, and ask Niyada about payment arrangements before your visit.

Any change to the treatment or agreed price will be discussed with you before proceeding. Changes to advertised prices apply to future bookings and do not change the price of an appointment already confirmed.

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or move an appointment, so that the time can be offered to someone else. Contact Niyada by phone or WhatsApp using the details on the contact page.

A £25 cancellation fee may apply to cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment.

Any cancellation charge will reflect the reasonable loss caused by the cancellation, taking account of costs saved and whether the appointment can be filled. It will not exceed £25. If illness or an emergency affects your attendance, please get in touch as soon as you can so that your circumstances can be considered.

If Niyada needs to cancel your appointment, you will be contacted as soon as possible and offered another time or a refund of any payment made for the cancelled appointment.

Please arrive at your booked time and let Niyada know if you are delayed or unable to attend. Arriving late may mean a shorter session to avoid delaying the next appointment. If there is not enough time to provide treatment safely, the appointment may need to be rearranged. If you miss an appointment, please contact Niyada to discuss the next steps.

Please share relevant medical history, current medication, allergies, pregnancy and any changes in your health before treatment. If you feel unwell before your visit, contact Niyada to discuss whether to attend. Treatment suitability will be assessed individually; a booking does not guarantee that a particular treatment will be appropriate for you.

The proposed treatment, its potential benefits, risks and alternatives will be discussed with you before you decide whether to proceed. You can ask questions, decline treatment or withdraw your consent at any time. Agreeing to these booking terms does not give consent to clinical treatment.

If booking for a child or someone who needs support with consent, please contact Niyada first to discuss suitability and arrangements.

Responses to treatment vary and no particular result or number of sessions can be guaranteed. Website information is general and cannot replace an individual assessment or advice from your GP or other healthcare professional. Continue prescribed care unless the professional responsible for it advises a change.

Contact details are used to arrange and manage your appointments. Information you share during consultation and treatment is treated confidentially, subject to legal and professional obligations, including safeguarding. Contact Niyada if you have questions about your personal information or wish to ask about access to your records.

Please treat the practitioner and treatment space with respect. Treatment may be declined or stopped if behaviour makes it unsafe to continue.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights, any cancellation rights that apply by law, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Services must be provided with reasonable care and skill.

These terms may be updated for future bookings. The version in place when your appointment was confirmed applies to that booking, unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.
